Dear Hamburgers, dear Hamburg and Hafen fans, dear water sports fans… We have just taken off the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken, bridge 10, and our team would like to tell you today about the 10 years of MARITIME CIRCLE LINE – the “hop-on hop-off” cultural tour in the port of Hamburg. Operating the MARITIME CIRCLE LINE is an exciting and challenging task that I set myself as an entrepreneur. The red barges of the MARITIME CIRCLE LINE have been shaping the image in the port of Hamburg for 10 years, and many people enjoy our harbor tours. It makes me happy every day to present this popular cultural and leisure offer in the harbor with my team and to be able to do something for the people of our city – whether they live here or as guests from Germany or abroad for a while spending in Hamburg. The port was already a fascinating playground for me as a child. After being at the helm for the first time later, I knew I wanted to be a captain. The Port of Hamburg is my field, based on the words of Albert Ballin. Our common goal in the company is to make the tours of the MARITIME CIRCLE LINE always interesting. For this it is necessary that we develop ourselves further, learn from mistakes, try new things and in this way actively shape the port as well as the tourism and leisure offer.
